@zhivi What I've noticed, and not just in this thread, is that many people of color have been pushed to like their culture in reaction to racism. They end up embracing exactly what white people gives them grief about. The color of the skin, the hair (you admitted that you hated it, no inherent reason for this except that it was different from white hair), the music, the food, etc...

Interestingly, you mentioned "soul food", which was born in the plantations of the Southern United States, but not a cuisine from a specific African countries you may be originated from like I mentioned French cuisine.

So I believe there's nothing culturally white that's particularly likeable because there's no systemic discrimination against it. There are some localized European cultural traits that people can like, but nothing generally white.

@hypolite did you get a chance to read Part 1 and Part 2 responses? Didn't know if you wanted to respond to the question asked.

@zhivi I did respond to the Part 1 question and I read some of the answers for both parts, however I preferred focusing on your own answer to Part 2.
