Omolola Ijeoma Ogunyemi<p>I'm loving google's <a href="https://writing.exchange/tags/jollof" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>jollof</span></a> doodle today in celebration of <a href="https://writing.exchange/tags/jollofrice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>jollofrice</span></a>!</p><p>My recipe: saute 2 cups raw long grain rice, 4 grated cloves garlic, 1 chopped onion in 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil until rice is slightly charred (for smoky flavor). Add ginger, coriander, nutmeg, black pepper, salt, etc. Blend 1 red bell pepper, 2 tomatoes, 1 habanero (optional), 2 tablespoons tomato paste with water until you have 4.25 cups of liquid. Pour liquid over rice, stir, simmer on low heat for 25 mins, enjoy.</p>
