We know #MotherMary had to endure watching her baby's state sanctioned, court upheld, murder on Good Friday, but on Christmas Day, we exchange gifts and unwrap her joy. Until then, especially on the #solstice, we wait in the dark with the #DivineMother. We are her hope.

@ThatAuntie Beautiful. I love the way you represented the synchronicity of santeria and candomble beliefs with Christianity. And at least here in the states we don't often get to see that fusion of our African selves with what Christianity produced.
