@JayJustice I wish I could, but since GDC is hosted in an unsafe/hostile country and there's a good likelihood people like us won't make the return trip, my institutition gave out a travel warning and doesn't pay travel or lodging.
Perhaps next time GDC is hosted in a safe country.
@lianna totally understandable. As far as I know there are no plans to relocate GDC and it has been in its current location for some time, but there are a lot of other video game oriented conferences and events to look forward to in many other countries. Gamescom Asia is joining Thailand Game Show and will be in Bangkok this year. I'm very excited to attend that one in the fall!
